Inside and out

FlowerThis photo comes from AjA’s partnership program with the Juvenile Court and Community Schools in City Heights. The photographer, Faviola Pinal, 18, created two photographs, one to represent her “outside self” and one to represent her “inside self.” She writes: “When people see me,they assume I’m over confident that I know everything and that I’m never wrong. But my emotions are twisted, I doubt my thoughts, my world spins and my choices are in between right and wrong. I got  a hurricane in my brain.”
